TheRebelRisingBlog - The Back & Forth Dance of Life

We often find it hard to move on things in our lives because we feel we need to wait for others to give us the boost, or some sign from the universe that gives us an idea we’re heading in the right direction. Many of us wait years to finally move ahead on something that we’ve been thinking about for a long time but never felt that we had what it takes to do it, whatever “it” may be. Some may wait for a sign from God to say, “Yep, you’re good to go”, but what if you never hear the trumpets or receive a visit from a celestial being that enforces that impulse to take that chance?

Do we then allow ourselves to leave this realm with a mark of failure on our life report card?

Do we let ourselves suffer from the aftermath of that inner struggle that we’ve let simmer all that time in lieu of taking that first step to just see what happens?

Sometimes acting impulsively has its advantages since it doesn’t allow you to think too much of all the reasons why you shouldn’t do it or how so many things can go wrong. Or even be concerned that people you know would not like what you have in mind that would inevitably change your life.

Really? Are they living in your body? Do they have complete charge of your limbs, and organs, and everything else within that form that walks freely down our own personal life path?

Though we all come from one universal energy source and are connected spiritually - nonphysically, we are all still hero’s on our own journey. We must do what is right for ourselves. No one else can live your life for you. Nor do they have the right to do so. I’m sure it’s hard at times to take that first step as a barrage of thoughts and emotional turmoil begins to assualt you; the inner whisperings, or screams at times, that tell you all the reasons you shouldn’t, couldn’t, and not worthy enough to build on your own life.

In other words - Giving life its’ meaning.

Just remember this - there’s only one sign you need to look for to give you that push to move forward.

You are BREATHING!
