TheRebelRisingBlog: The Nuance of Paradox
The main reason for all the battles in this world comes from viewing everything from extreme vantage points. Only one side of an argument is focused upon instead of moving over to the middle ground where an intermix and a broader viewpoint exists. It’s like mixing two paint colors together and, in doing so, a totally different shade is birthed.
I often hear the arguments of those who speak from the angle of “saving our planet” while finding fault with actions being taken from the other side of the encampment. Sure there is a need to be respectful of the living organic conscious natural setting we are surrounded by. Nature is healing. and expresses great beauty which further illicit a healthier environment for healthier living. And certainly the toxic chemicals that are used in these surroundings are not only damaging the natural resources of the earth, but also killing us along with it. This is obvious. However, the solution for this problem gets buried amid the protestations. There’s scolding but no resolution. The consensus always being that humans are bad and need to be punished.
One area of contention revolves around the need for disclosing technology, that has been held back for a very long time, which would be useful in offering a solution to cleaning up all this devastation. People can talk and criticize how the average being should not try to take over and control nature all they want, that their freedoms should be curtailed on a daily basis, but it’s mankind in the guise of corporations that have been allowed to control the way we live our lives. It’s regimes that push their agendas upon the unsuspecting populace that steers us all in the wrong direction.
Standing only on one side of the issue doesn’t bring a solution. It just brings more meaningless arguments like the ones you catch on The View each week. Everyone talking over each other and nothing being heard. It only encourages superficial angles of discussion instead of deeply explored and thought out topics. Each person continually interrupting, and taking deep offense to what’s being said to one another.
The real question really is: Is anybody really listening? That’s an ability that needs to be reintroduced into the educational system. It’s more important than fighting to get the answer heard. By listening you may find that your response would not have been the right one to begin with.
