TheRebelRisingBlog - Aging: Fact or Fiction?

You might say that society has always been used as a social experiment where various programs have run fully automated on the backend as we move through our lives unaware of it all. One such program is Aging. We've accepted the idea that getting older means we become feeble, fragile, and sick. That’s it, in a nutshell. That it's inevitable we will forget who we are, our personal history, and no memory as to who those strangers are living in the next room. The first thing doctors look for on our charts is our age, and they then base all their conclusions on what their schooling taught them about living in those higher age groups. The program runs so well that even people who are considered part of that population  use aging as an excuse for everything. It's the reason we get a cold, a sore foot or an  eye irritation - because we're getting old.  The real reasons don’t quite make a connection with people; mainly because it takes an accumulation of bad nutrition, toxic environments, medications over the years before anyone connects the dots. And what about stress, you ask? That also plays a part in our further deterioration as we desperately deal with trying to financially make ends meet, trying to keep up, and the feeling that you always fall short of the mark; they all play a part in where these health issues may stem from. It creates depression, a feeling of having no purpose or control over one's life. Not being able to get over that hump called life. It doesn't have anything to do with how old you are. It's the quality of life we've been given here in this place that's the culprit. Don't let them constantly brainwash you into believing that the worst will happen as you get older just because you had the audacity to stick it out longer than what "they" believe should be the cutoff point for your life.

You ARE the master of your journey.  Take control.  Otherwise, "they" will.
